Die Studienteilnehmer repr\u00e4sentierten eine vielf\u00e4ltige Palette von Branchen: Privatkundengesch\u00e4ft, Investmentbanking, Krankenversicherung, Versicherung, medizinische Kodierung, Energie, Recht, Herstellung von Laborinstrumenten, Anlagenbau, Postdienste und Technologieberatung. W\u00e4hrend des Forschungszeitraums sammelten die Autoren Daten aus mehr als 10 Workshops, die das Konsortium einberief, und f\u00fchrten zus\u00e4tzlich 87 eingehende halbstrukturierte Interviews mit Mitarbeitern an vorderster Front, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrern, Technologief\u00fchrern, Datenverantwortlichen und F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4ften der obersten Ebene durch.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<div class=\"article-summary\"><strong class=\"article-summary__strong\">Zusammenfassung: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unternehmen, die eine neue Art interner KI-Organisation namens \u201eKI-Wirbels\u00e4ule\u201c etabliert haben, nutzen die funktions\u00fcbergreifende Struktur, um mit Hilfe der Nutzer schnell innovative generative KI-Anwendungsf\u00e4lle zu entwickeln. Unternehmen haben gemeinsam Milliarden von Dollar investiert, um Mitarbeitern Zugang zu allgemeinen gro\u00dfen Sprachmodellen (LLMs) zu verschaffen, um die pers\u00f6nliche Produktivit\u00e4t zu steigern, w\u00e4hrend sie in den meisten F\u00e4llen Schwierigkeiten haben, strategischere Anwendungen der Technologie zu entwickeln und zu \u00fcbernehmen. Eine sinnvolle Kapitalrendite, geschweige denn ein Wettbewerbsvorteil, wird wahrscheinlich schwer zu erreichen sein, es sei denn, Unternehmen k\u00f6nnen GenAI nutzen, um innovative Prozessverbesserungen zu erzielen, die sich \u00fcber Funktionen und Gesch\u00e4ftsbereiche hinweg skalieren lassen.<a id=\"reflink1\" class=\"reflink\" href=\"#ref1\">1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Unsere Interviews mit 87 Praktikern in 23 gro\u00dfen Organisationen zeigten, dass F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte, die mit generativer KI Wertsch\u00f6pfung skalieren, drei Schl\u00fcsselpraktiken pflegen. Erstens erweitern sie den Umfang der Anwendungsf\u00e4lle \u00fcber Prozesse hinweg, anstatt sich auf eine bestimmte Aufgabe zu konzentrieren. Zweitens behandeln sie jeden Anwendungsfall als ein Werk in Arbeit, das kontinuierlich verbessert wird. Und drittens identifizieren und verwerfen sie schnell Anwendungsf\u00e4lle, die keinen messbaren Wert f\u00fcr die Organisation bringen.<\/p>\n<p>Die meisten traditionellen Unternehmen sind jedoch nicht darauf ausgerichtet, diese drei Praktiken zu institutionalisieren. Viele arbeiten als multidivisionale Organisationen, die durch mehrere Gewinn- und Verlust-Einheiten mit doppelten Funktionen, begrenztem funktions\u00fcbergreifendem Informationsfluss und internem Wettbewerb um Ressourcen gekennzeichnet sind.<a id=\"reflink2\" class=\"reflink\" href=\"#ref2\">2<\/a> Diese Struktur erschwert es, generative KI-Anwendungsf\u00e4lle \u00fcber Prozesse und Einheiten hinweg zu skalieren.<\/p>\n<p>In unserer Forschung fanden wir heraus, dass die wenigen F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte, die diese Herausforderungen meistern, \u00fcber die klassischen Hub-and-Spoke-Modelle hinausgehen, die viele Organisationen verwendet haben, um zentralisierte KI-technische Expertise mit jeder Einheit zu verbinden. Sie entwickeln eine neue Art interner Ressource, die wir die <em>KI-Wirbels\u00e4ule<\/em> nennen.
