Der Vorsitzende des ITA-Ausschusses, Herr Andrei Rusu (Rum\u00e4nien), sagte, der Austausch habe den Mitgliedern geholfen, die Chancen und Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit der Entwicklung und Einf\u00fchrung von KI im Rahmen der Arbeit des ITA-Ausschusses besser zu verstehen.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Experten der University of International Business and Economics (China) und des Big Data Institute (Thailand) betonten, dass die Handels\u00f6ffnung durch das ITA entscheidend sei, um die globale KI-Infrastrukturl\u00fccke zu schlie\u00dfen, und dazu beitrage, die Kosten f\u00fcr die leistungsstarke Hardware zu senken, die f\u00fcr den nationalen KI-Einsatz und das \u00d6kosystem digitaler Dienste erforderlich ist.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Vertreter von eCourier Limited (Bangladesch) und INMO Technology (China) gaben Ansichten des Privatsektors zur Bedeutung von Hardware f\u00fcr den Kapazit\u00e4tsaufbau in Entwicklungsl\u00e4ndern. Sie wiesen auch auf mehrere Hindernisse f\u00fcr die KI-Bereitschaft hin, wie hohe Z\u00f6lle und Infrastrukturdefizite, und betonten die wichtige Rolle des ITA und der WTO bei der Beseitigung von Handelshemmnissen zur Unterst\u00fctzung einer inklusiven digitalen Transformation.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Die Pr\u00e4sentation der<\/span> <span>Internationalen Fernmeldeunion (ITU) betonte die entscheidende Rolle internationaler Standards bei der Gew\u00e4hrleistung globaler Interoperabilit\u00e4t.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Mehrere Redner ermutigten den ITA-Ausschuss auch, eine Ausweitung der Produktabdeckung im ITA zu pr\u00fcfen, die Synergien mit anderen WTO-Gremien zu verbessern und zu diskutieren, wie Entwicklungsl\u00e4nder und am wenigsten entwickelte L\u00e4nder (LDCs) bei der \u00dcberbr\u00fcckung der digitalen Infrastrukturl\u00fccke unterst\u00fctzt werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Die thematische Sitzung war die zweite, die vom ITA-Ausschuss organisiert wurde.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Ausschusssitzung<\/h3>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Auf der Sitzung des Ausschusses am selben Tag gab Vietnam formell seine Absicht bekannt, der Erweiterung des Informationstechnologieabkommens (ITA II) beizutreten. Vietnam reichte zu diesem Thema eine Verbalnote an die WTO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wto.org\/english\/news_e\/news26_e\/ita_15apr26_364_e.htm\">Anfang April<\/a>ein. Im Juli ist in Hanoi ein nationaler Workshop geplant, um den Prozess zu erleichtern.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Der Vertreter Vietnams betonte, dass das Land zunehmend zu einem wichtigen regionalen Zentrum f\u00fcr die Herstellung und den Export von Elektronik und Hochtechnologie werde und die Vorteile einer st\u00e4rkeren Einbindung in den ITA-Rahmen erkenne. Mehrere Mitglieder ergriffen das Wort, um Vietnams Entscheidung zu begr\u00fc\u00dfen, und sagten, sie freuten sich auf die Pr\u00fcfung des Entwurfs des ITA-Erweiterungsplans Vietnams.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Mehrere ITA-Teilnehmer \u00e4u\u00dferten erneut ihre Besorgnis \u00fcber die Anwendung zus\u00e4tzlicher 10%iger Z\u00f6lle durch \u00c4gypten auf Importe von Mobiltelefonen. \u00c4gypten erkl\u00e4rte, die Angelegenheit werde derzeit von den zust\u00e4ndigen nationalen Beh\u00f6rden diskutiert, und es werde den Ausschuss entsprechend informieren.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Der Ausschuss er\u00f6rterte auch die laufenden Arbeiten zur Identifizierung wichtiger nichttarif\u00e4rer Handelshemmnisse, die den Handel mit ITA-Produkten betreffen, und tauschte Ansichten \u00fcber einen strukturierten Ansatz zur L\u00f6sung langj\u00e4hriger Klassifizierungsunterschiede bei den Produkten des \u201eAnhangs B\u201c des ITA aus, die zollfrei behandelt werden.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Das n\u00e4chste formelle Treffen ist vorl\u00e4ufig f\u00fcr den 19.
