TOKYO, 23 octobre (Xinhua) - Deux personnes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9es et les syst\u00e8mes de transport et les entreprises ont \u00e9t\u00e9 gravement perturb\u00e9s par le typhon Lan qui s'est abattu sur la c\u00f4te Pacifique du centre du Japon apr\u00e8s avoir touch\u00e9 terre t\u00f4t lundi.<\/p>\n
Le typhon, avec une pression atmosph\u00e9rique de 950 hectopascals en son centre et des vents puissants pouvant atteindre 198 km\/h, a frapp\u00e9 la r\u00e9gion de la pr\u00e9fecture de Shizuoka, au centre du Japon, sur l'\u00eele principale de Honshu, vers 3 heures du matin, heure locale.<\/p>\n
Selon les m\u00e9dias locaux, le 21e typhon de la saison a laiss\u00e9 une tra\u00een\u00e9e de destruction, avec des rivi\u00e8res sortant de leur lit et des glissements de terrain engloutissant des maisons. La r\u00e9gion occidentale de la pr\u00e9fecture de Wakayama a re\u00e7u jusqu'\u00e0 800 mm de pluie sur une p\u00e9riode de 48 heures jusqu'\u00e0 dimanche.<\/p>\n
Selon l'agence m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique, la pr\u00e9fecture de Mie a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 durement touch\u00e9e, la puissante temp\u00eate ayant d\u00e9vers\u00e9 700 mm de pluie au cours de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, ce qui a \u00e9galement provoqu\u00e9 d'importantes inondations dans certaines parties de la pr\u00e9fecture de Nara.<\/p>\n
Un homme de 63 ans a \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9 par des vents violents qui ont fait tomber un \u00e9chafaudage sur un chantier de construction dans la ville de Fukuoka, dans le sud-ouest du Japon. Dans la pr\u00e9fecture de Yamaguchi, dans l'ouest du Japon, un homme de 70 ans est mort apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 contraint de plonger dans la mer \u00e0 la suite d'une panne de moteur de son bateau.<\/p>\n
Par ailleurs, une coul\u00e9e de boue a frapp\u00e9 une maison dans la pr\u00e9fecture de Wakayama et son occupant est port\u00e9 disparu, selon les m\u00e9dias locaux.<\/p>\n
Les activit\u00e9s seront interrompues jusqu'\u00e0 lundi soir dans les usines de Toyota Motor Corp. dans plusieurs pr\u00e9fectures, dont Iwate, Miyagi et Gifu, ont indiqu\u00e9 les m\u00e9dias locaux citant des repr\u00e9sentants de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n
Les deux principales compagnies a\u00e9riennes japonaises, Japan Airlines Co. et All Nippon Airways Co. ont annul\u00e9 350 vols dimanche et 170 vols lundi. Quelque 43 000 passagers ont \u00e9t\u00e9 touch\u00e9s par ces annulations.<\/p>\n
Les services du train \u00e0 grande vitesse Shinkansen ont \u00e9t\u00e9 suspendus sur certaines parties de la ligne Tokaido, et certaines grandes art\u00e8res routi\u00e8res ont \u00e9galement d\u00fb \u00eatre ferm\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
Des ordres d'\u00e9vacuation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9mis dans certaines villes et localit\u00e9s, et le d\u00e9pouillement des \u00e9lections de dimanche \u00e0 la chambre basse a \u00e9t\u00e9 suspendu jusqu'\u00e0 lundi dans les zones o\u00f9 l'acc\u00e8s aux bureaux de vote a \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9 par le typhon.<\/p>\n
Selon l'Agence m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique japonaise, le typhon Lan sera r\u00e9trograd\u00e9 en cyclone tropical suppl\u00e9mentaire lorsqu'il atteindra l'est de la pr\u00e9fecture la plus septentrionale du Japon, Hokkaido. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
