In the notification, India indicated, among other things, as follows:<\/p>\n

“5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Point of contact for the investigation and deadlines<\/p>\n

a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>All interested parties are required to register themselves on the SETU Portal (https:\/\/setudgtr.gov.in) in order to participate in the investigation. Interested parties have been requested to make their views known within a period of 37 days from the date of the notice issued (i.e. 16th March, 2026). All communications and submissions from the interested parties shall be uploaded on the SETU portal under their registered name and corresponding case ID.<\/p>\n

b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>The known producers\/exporters, the Governments of the exporting countries through their embassies in India, and the importers and users in India who are known to be associated with the subject goods are informed separately to enable them to file all the relevant information within the stipulated time limits.<\/p>\n

c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>If no information is received within the prescribed time limit or the information received is incomplete, the Investigating Authority may record its findings on the basis of the facts available on record in accordance with the Rules.<\/span>“<\/p>\n

Une enqu\u00eate de sauvegarde vise \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer si l'augmentation des importations d'un produit cause, ou menace de causer, un pr\u00e9judice grave \u00e0 une industrie nationale. <\/p>\n

Au cours d'une enqu\u00eate de sauvegarde, les importateurs, les exportateurs et les autres parties int\u00e9ress\u00e9es peuvent pr\u00e9senter des preuves et des points de vue et r\u00e9pondre aux pr\u00e9sentations des autres parties. <\/p>\n

Un membre de l'OMC ne peut prendre une mesure de sauvegarde (c'est-\u00e0-dire restreindre temporairement les importations d'un produit) que s'il s'av\u00e8re que l'augmentation des importations de ce produit cause ou menace de causer un pr\u00e9judice grave.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
