Le pr\u00e9sident du Comit\u00e9 de l'ITA, M. Andrei Rusu (Roumanie), a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que cet \u00e9change avait aid\u00e9 les membres \u00e0 mieux comprendre les opportunit\u00e9s et les d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s au d\u00e9veloppement et \u00e0 l'adoption de l'IA dans le cadre des travaux du Comit\u00e9 de l'ITA.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Des experts de l'Universit\u00e9 de commerce international et d'\u00e9conomie (Chine) et de l'Institut des m\u00e9gadonn\u00e9es (Tha\u00eflande) ont soulign\u00e9 que l'ouverture commerciale via l'ITA est essentielle pour combler le foss\u00e9 mondial en mati\u00e8re d'infrastructures d'IA, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts du mat\u00e9riel haute performance n\u00e9cessaire au d\u00e9ploiement national de l'IA et \u00e0 l'\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des services num\u00e9riques.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Les repr\u00e9sentants d'eCourier Limited (Bangladesh) et d'INMO Technology (Chine) ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le point de vue du secteur priv\u00e9 sur l'importance du mat\u00e9riel pour le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s dans les \u00e9conomies en d\u00e9veloppement. Ils ont \u00e9galement not\u00e9 plusieurs obstacles \u00e0 la pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 l'IA, tels que des droits de douane \u00e9lev\u00e9s et des d\u00e9ficiences infrastructurelles, soulignant le r\u00f4le important de l'ITA et de l'OMC dans l'\u00e9limination des barri\u00e8res commerciales pour soutenir une transformation num\u00e9rique inclusive.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>La pr\u00e9sentation de l'<\/span> <span>Union internationale des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications (UIT) a soulign\u00e9 le r\u00f4le crucial des normes internationales pour garantir l'interop\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 mondiale.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Plusieurs intervenants ont \u00e9galement encourag\u00e9 le Comit\u00e9 de l'ITA \u00e0 explorer l'\u00e9largissement de la couverture des produits dans le cadre de l'ITA, \u00e0 renforcer la synergie avec d'autres organes de l'OMC et \u00e0 discuter de la mani\u00e8re de soutenir les \u00e9conomies en d\u00e9veloppement et les PMA pour combler le foss\u00e9 en mati\u00e8re d'infrastructures num\u00e9riques.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>La session th\u00e9matique \u00e9tait la deuxi\u00e8me organis\u00e9e par le Comit\u00e9 de l'ITA.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>R\u00e9union du comit\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Lors de la r\u00e9union du Comit\u00e9 le m\u00eame jour, le Vietnam a officiellement exprim\u00e9 son intention d'adh\u00e9rer \u00e0 l'\u00e9largissement de l'Accord sur les technologies de l'information (ITA II). Le Vietnam a soumis une note verbale \u00e0 ce sujet \u00e0 l'OMC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wto.org\/english\/news_e\/news26_e\/ita_15apr26_364_e.htm\">d\u00e9but avril<\/a>. Un atelier national est pr\u00e9vu \u00e0 Hanoi en juillet pour faciliter le processus.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Le repr\u00e9sentant du Vietnam a soulign\u00e9 qu'\u00e0 mesure que le pays devient de plus en plus un p\u00f4le r\u00e9gional important pour la fabrication et l'exportation de produits \u00e9lectroniques et de haute technologie, il reconna\u00eet les avantages d'un engagement plus profond dans le cadre de l'ITA. Plusieurs membres ont pris la parole pour saluer la d\u00e9cision du Vietnam et ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu'ils attendaient avec int\u00e9r\u00eat l'examen du projet de calendrier d'\u00e9largissement de l'ITA du Vietnam.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Plusieurs participants \u00e0 l'ITA ont de nouveau exprim\u00e9 leur pr\u00e9occupation concernant l'application par l'\u00c9gypte de droits de douane suppl\u00e9mentaires de 10 % sur les importations de t\u00e9l\u00e9phones portables.
